Need For Speed 3 is out. The cracking of file formats which are used in NFS3 is in progress. Here is the first unofficial program for NFS3 editing.

This program allows you to extract/repack VIV files founded in NFS3.VIV files were used for example to store files needed for each car. When you extract CAR.VIV files you can edit created CAR00.TGA file with any good graphic program and then pack all files included edited TGA file together. And the result is you have changed the car texture. You can also edit the performance file CARP.TXT with any text editor.
